    Upon inspection of the device,
    I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.
    The hot plate shows heavy signs of use (see picture #3).
    The bottom of the device is warped and dented (see pictures #7-9).
    I was able to power on the device.
    I adjusted the Heat knob to its maximum setting.
    After 20 minutes, the hot plate only reached a temperature of 53° C. The hot plate is supposed to get to 400° C.
    I put a metal screw that I confirmed was magnetic onto the plate and the stirrer did not spin it, even with the Stir knob on its maximum setting.
    I put a magnet on the plate and it also did not move.
    The device will attempt to stir & heat for a few minutes and then seems to give up. The device will beep a handful of times and then cut off the heat and stir lights.
    The device is sold as is for parts, repair or as a non-working item.
