Vintage Thai Handmade Kalaga Spirit House Wall Tapestry

This Vintage Handmade Kalaga Tapestry features  a very Colorful Thai Spirit House (for Protection).  The word Kalaga means "foreign curtain" in deference to its Burmese influence.  These Kalagas are Intricate & Beautiful Wall Hangings that most often depict Historical & Buddhist Tales and Events as well as Nature.  Traditionally they are created with very Complex Embroidery, Beads, Sequins & Various Other Embelishments.  Each of the Embroidery is backed with hand woven linen.  They can either be framed or made to hang on a dowel.  This one measures 31" X 18" & weighs 529 grams (1.2 lbs.).  Missing pieces, Color fading or other imperfections Due to Age and/or Designer Issues only tends to enhance the character & uniqueness of this Tapestry.  From my Personal Collection.  REASONABLE OFFERS please.
