Description
Offered for your consideration is a vintage advertising fan from the 1930s.  The fan advertises for the Superior Dairy of Frederick, Maryland, which was located just east of the city on Baltimore Pike, which is also currently known as Route 144.  The dairy was operated by Roy L. Crum and, as is mentioned, specialized in ice cream and country ham sandwiches, as well as other dairy products.  I am dating this tri-fold fan to around the early 1900s, based on the 3 digit phone numbers.  The advertising piece is in very good to near excellent 'as found' condition, with no marks or tears.i  There is some minor handling wear to the edges.  The fan still opens and closes smoothly.  The colors to the design side are still rich and vibrant, with the graphics side showing some discoloration due to age.  The fan measures 7" x 5" when closed, and opens to nearly 10 1/2" wide.  An excellent representation for the collector.  Auctions can be combined to save on shipping.  Thank you for viewing my listing.
