    The top is removable (see pictures)
    Marked on bottom -- SOUTHINGTON C. CO A-121 Quadruple Plate
    @ 101/2 Inches Tall, @ 5-3/8 inches across bottom at widest
    Weighs about 1 lb 9 ounces
    This belonged to my late aunt (my mother's older sister)... my mother would have been 99 years old this year
    so it is quite old ... it may have been their mother's (who was born in 1894) making it even older.
