    Description

Here's a vintage folding fan advertising 'Fleck's Motor Court' Route 125, 1910 W. Jefferson St., 1 mile west of Springfield, Illinois. Springfield's Finest Court, 16 all modern units...etc. Owned and operated by Mr. & Mrs. Frank J. Fleck. DIAL 4781. The patent (1655229) for this type of fan was granted 01-03-1928. I believe this fan dates to the 1930s or early 1940s. Notice that nothing is mentioned about television. When open this fan is about 10 7/16" wide by 6 15/16" tall. There is a little wear on the pull tabs but overall I would consider this to be in very good condition.
