The 4" Low Profile Sliding Winch from U.S. Cargo Control is the ideal sliding winch for flatbed hauling tie down systems. This flatbed winch measures 5.5" in length and 8" wide and can fit winch straps or nylon webbing up to 4" wide. Our cargo control winches are made with a durable steel that can withstand working loads of up to 5,500 lbs. and finished with a durable black paint that provides resistance to rust and corrosion. The low-profile frame can hold up to 15' (180") of excess webbing and allows the sliding tie down winch to work on flatbed trailers where space may be limited. Each tie down winch is designed with notches on the back side that insert and slide along any C-track winch rail for optimal placement when securing cargo. The flatbed trailer winch will stay in its place once tension has been applied; simply release tension from the winch strap and move the winch freely along the track to reposition it.
