    Rare, unique and beautiful Siam (Apsara) Dancer temple rubbings from the 12
    th
    century World Heritage Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia. Last of remaining stock before Cambodian government prohibited temple rubbings in the late 1960's to preserve national treasures. Acquired in 1970, Phenom Phen, Cambodia. Primitive framing, yet eloquently displays the unique bas relief rubbing. Made of rice paper mache. The artwork measures approx. 19" H x 12-1/2 Wide x 1-1/2" D, while the overall frame measures approx. 25” H x 18-1/4” W x 2" D. Base color is green with soft gold highlights - the frame is
