Set Of 2 Vintage Cardboard Mortuary Fans Featuring Scenes With Jesus

Offered for purchase is a set of two vintage cardboard fans. These pieces were distributed by McBane Burial Vaults out of Morristown, IN to those attending funerals during the heat of the summer. Both fans depict Biblical scenes. The fan featuring Jesus in a blue robe is titled "Christ Knocking At The Door". The artwork with Jesus wearing the red robe is titled "Christ In Gethsemane". Both fans are in excellent condition being free of bends and tears and retaining their original wood stick handles. The dimensions of the pieces are approximately 7 3/4" x 7 1/2". The fans are approximately 11 3/4" in height with the handle.
