    Description

    Sensational rare 12" tall Sascha Brastoff California pottery vase in his storied More Gold design. This Mid-Century Modern vase is elliptical at the top and round at the bottom. Gold glaze with tone-on-tone Asian-inspired graphics and wagon wheel abstract designs and matte jet black interior. Signed "Sascha B." with an early date mark, probably c. 1947 through c. 1953. A wonderful find, especially in this condition. This is the only one of this vase design I have seen in all my years of vintage hunting. Near mint vintage condition.
