Pair of WMF Ikora MCM Candlesticks Silver Silverplate Art Deco Etched Signed

Description

For sale here is a Modernist style pair of silverplate candlelabra from the WMF Ikora line.
Marked "Ikora", "WMF" and "Germany" on the center bottom, these candlesticks combine to make a variety of presentations.  Each holding two candles, they are 5-1/2" tall and about 10-1/2" wide.  Each bobeche is about 1-1/2" wide and take standard sized candles.
Ikora was a line of metalware (later, glassware also) developed by WMF in 1927; common to all items in the line was the metal finishing method, whereby both chemicals and heat were utilized to layer metals, enabling the look of hand-finishing.
