    Description

    Each of these handsome early 1900's silver on copper candlesticks measures 8 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" (base) x 1 3/4" (top) and holds a 7/8" taper.  The richly embossed surfaces feature neoclassical designs with raised goats masks and garlands  and fluted stems and bases.  The silver is pretty good overall with wear and pitting only notable on teh edges of the bases as pictured.  They have silver-plated steel plates in the base for weight and the felts have come loose and need some spots of glue.  Both stand nicely with no notable bends and need some polishing.
