    Mushroom and sea salt has long been understand and researched as a means of eliminating outright MSG from our seasonings. MSG has side effects such as the I experience which is a band around the head, slight headache and sometimes dizziness. Others are known to have more severe reactions. MSG is not exactly an all bad thing but it is not necessary to be in all things from smoked meats, cured meats, sausages, and as a preservative, most of all as a form of "salt" that opens up the taste buds enabling more complex and intense flavors to be present, or enhanced.
    I have used mushroom soy, nutritional yeast, dried and fresh shiitake, maitake, snow, reishi, chaga, Chantelle, black cave mushrooms to vitalize flavors, and they taste great so why not delve further into possibility without side effect. This is not a question. It is a to say that when you use this great seasoning which completes the necessary elements in making it possible to experience the flavors of fresh, cooked, prepared and cured foods. Recommended.

    How can I explain this product?!
    Firstly, I grew up in the Little Saigon area and found this product ages ago. It's sort if like a cross between salt and bouillon sprinkles.
    I use it as a broth if I want to sip a broth or adding it in stocks, soups, marinades, savory spice mixes and more. I use it in place of salt also. It has a very savory flavor and is an AMAZING replacement for salt...
    Yes, I think I adequately described it but I'm sure it is even better than I can attest to...!
    Also, it truly doesn't taste like mushrooms, so dont worry about that! It's a very neutral taste.

    I've tried every brand I can find and this is by far the best. If you've never tried mushroom seasoning you need to. It doesn't necessarily taste like mushrooms, it just makes everything taste better. I use it instead of salt in most savory dishes that I cook.
