This mix is a fast cure product that has been developed as a cure for meat, poultry, game, salmon, shad, and sablefish. It is a combination of high grade salt and other quality curing ingredients that can be used for both dry and sweet pickle curing.

mix contains mostly salt, the main preserving agent; sugar, and other curing agents that also contribute to development of color and flavor; and propylene glycol to keep the mixture uniform. It is NOT a meat tenderizer.
CAUTION:
This curing salt is designed to be used at the rate specified in the formulation or recipe. It should not be used at higher levels as results will be inconsistent, cured meats will be too salty, and the finished products may be unsatisfactory. Curing salts should be used only in meat, poultry, game, salmon, shad and sablefish. Curing salts cannot be substituted for regular salt in other food recipes. Always keep meat refrigerated (36° to 40°F) while curing and
never use more than the recommended usage

Free shipping includes this product sent in manufacturer sealed bags. The product is also placed inside of a 2-mil poly bag and sealed, to prevent any spillage of product during shipping. Padded Flat Rate Envelope will be used most of the time to ship.
This product does not post best by/expiration dates. However, the posted
manufactured date
is at least November 2019. This product has at least a 3 or 4 year shelf life. So, that would mean that this product would be best if used before Nov. 2022 (or longer).

Quality issues

Lost/Stolen/Damaged Packages

We always recommend having your item(s) held for pickup from your local post office to avoid any damage or theft.
If your item arrives damaged from being mistreated, you must notify us within 24 hours after tracking shows the item was delivered. You must also provide photos and keep all items/packaging until the issue is resolved.
Perishable items

Having it held for pickup is the only way you can control what happens to your package and prevents it from sitting in a hot/cold local delivery truck before delivery or anywhere outside after delivery for any amount of time.
