Monumental 16" Silverplate Acanthus and Lion Vintage Pillar Candlestick Holders

For your consideration we offer an impressive matched pair of vintage silver plated pillar candle holders. Rising 16” from a triangular base supported by ball and claw feet and decorated on each side with a finely detailed lions face mask, this is an artistically created and substantial set that weighs 3 pounds each. The body of the candlesticks are accented with a classic acanthus leaf design at various points for visual interest. The bases are felted for the protection of furnishings with the candle cup measuring 4” in diameter and 1” deep to prevent excess wax drippings. No hallmark was discovered on either candlestick.
In beautiful condition, there are no dents, dings, rub marks, plate loss, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found.
