MCM POTTERY PIPE/Trinket box Green with hand painted leaves.

Description

This Green hand painted pipe/trinket box looks like Sasha Brastoff but is not signed so I can't confirm that it is. It's too heavy a piece to be a hobbyist ceramic piece and it does not have a mold # or company name on the bottom. Having done ceramics for years I am familiar with those pieces. I did find some of Brastoffs Pipe pieces with this exact mold and this same pattern painted on, but where the black and green meet on the pipe handle doesn't seem to have the preciseness I would expect from one of his pieces. That being said, it is still a nice example of MCM. No cracks, chips or crazing but there is some paint missing under the glaze at the top of the pipe. See photo. Measures 9" to the top of the pipe.

I do check alternate shipping options on heavier items once the item is sold and I have actually packed it.
If I am able to get a better rate on larger, heavier items using an alternate carrier I will switch to save the buyer money and
