    Description

Lot of 2 leather postcards from the early 1900s.
The first is a hand-painted, humorous postcard featuring a man being escorted by 3 police officers. The card reads "I'm coming home between one and two." The policemen are painted blue and the man being escorted is painted green. The postcard has holes poked around the leather for possible binding or decoration? The backside is blank but shows slight tears and wrinkling to the leather (which is common to the "rough-Side" of leather). Approximately 5.25"x3"
The second card reads "Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot" and has blank cards or notes with green painted flowers around them. The green paint has all but faded away. It appears that there is writing faintly showing on the letters, but is illegible. The backside shows slight tears and wrinkling to the leather (which is common to the "rough-Side" of leather). Approximately 5"x3"
