Handsome English? Silverplate Candlestick 13.5" w/ Floral Garland Designs

Description

Presented is a handsome silver plated candlestick, likely of English make,
dating to the second half of the 1800s or very early 1900s. The candlestick is
fabulously hand chased with floral garlands on the shaft, and Celtic type masks
around the base. The designs are very detailed and well done. The candlestick is
an impressive large size, guaranteed to make a statement however it's displayed.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is some wear through the
silver to the copper beneath, visible on the high points of the decoration.
There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no
repairs.
The candlestick stands about 13 1/2 inches tall. The base measures about 8
1/2 inches in diameter.
