    Description

    *******
Once again, we bring you the flavors of Guam into your home away from home....
    Organic Vine-dried Boonie Pepper Seeds
and a 1-ounce packet of pickled peppers!
30+ seeds and 1 ounce whole pickled peppers.
Seeds from vine-dried pepper pods form organic wild boonie pepper trees.
Whole peppers are picked, pickled and packed on the same day.
GROWS EXCELLENTLY IN THE TOPSY TURVY HANGING PLANTERS!!!
    *******
Germination within 10 to 14 days after planting.
    These peppers are
    VERY
hot!!!!  These are authentic boonie peppers, the wild variety found in the boonies, and measure an average of 1/4 to 1/2 inches in length.  The smaller the pepper, the hotter it is!
Plant seeds in small pots 1/4 inch deep in good soil.  Mist daily.  Once plant has outgrown the pot, transplant to a bigger pot or in the ground outdoors.  But if you have extreme weather such as snow or severe heat, it is best to grow your pepper plants in pots so you can bring them inside when the weather is not too good.  Or the best is to plant the seedlings in the Topsy Turvy hanging planters, they grow very well in these!
You will be harvesting boonie peppers in 70 to 90 days!
    *******
And when you harvest your peppers.... you may want to try this:
    Finadeni
is always on the dining table of every Chamorro home!  This condiment is used to flavor rice, meat, soups and fish and is also great for marinating pork, beef and chicken for barbecuing!  Here is a quick recipe my husband's great grandmother passed on to him:

    1 part soy sauce

1 part lemon juice or calamansi juice

Some chopped green onions or sliced yellow onions

3 small chopped red boonie peppers (or more if you dare!)
Sometimes I add sliced tomatoes or roasted eggplant if they are abundant in my garden!  Just put everything in a bowl and let it sit a while before serving so all the flavors combine...
Wishing you happy planting today, a bountiful harvest in a few months and a delicious Chamorro meal everyday after that!
