This is a very
BEAUTIFUL,
GRACEFUL

ELEGANT
silver plated 5 light candelabra signed "The Van Bergh SP Co., Rochester, NY. Quadruple Plate" under the felt base! It is
UNIQUE
in that has swirled arms and looks almost
FREEFORM!
It has
GORGEOUS
ORNATE
and INTRICATE REPOUSSE FLOWERS
and
CURLEQUES
1/2" wide around the edge of each candle holder and again on two outstanding square pieces from the center post and nearly 1" wide panel on the foot too.
Vertical puffed paneling around the base of the candle holder. The foot has a scalloped border. There are 3 graduated size rings just below the arms on the center post. The center post curves
GRACEFULLY
up as it widens. The arms are all paneled and swirl so
BEAUTIFULLY
to the candle holder.
WONDERFUL DETAIL
around the beveled foot.
The candle holder sections actually can be removed as can the center one. The maker
Van Bergh Silversmiths, were in business from 1892-1926 and then merged with the Oneida Company.
Heavy and substantial!
It is just
GORGEOUS!
Measures 10 1/2"tall,
10" by 10" and the foot measures just 4 1/4" by 4 1/4".
VERY HEAVY
and BEAUTIFULLY MADE.
Holds 1" candle. Great condition with only a few light scratches. Felt on base is stained and loose, but no one sees that.
