A beautiful and original movie theatre lobby standee from "One Hundred and One Dalmatians",
Walt Disney’s beloved 1961 animated masterpiece about a heroic cast of irresistible tail-wagging characters setting out to rescue Pongo and Perdita’s puppies from Cruella de Vil, the most fabulously outrageous villainess of all time.
The standee, from Disney's reissue of the film in 1985, measures approximately 26 1/4 inches wide by 39 1/4 inches long and features wonderful and colorful artwork of Cruella De Vil looming over Pongo and Perdita and 101 Dalmatian puppies.
The standee is in new-in-the-box and unused condition with only
a very minor crease in the bottom left hand corner.  Never displayed, the standee has been carefully stored in a climate-controlled area away from light for the past 35 years, and, consequently, the colors are as fresh as the
day it was
printed.
The
standee was made exclusively for and available to only movie
theaters from Disney
to
display in movie theatre lobbies to promote the re-release of the film.  Only a limited quantity of standees were produced (unlike one-sheets which were printed in
quantities
of 10,000 or more), none were made available to the general public, and most were used and then
discarded
after the film's showing, making this
unused
standee in its original box all the more rare.
Printed on heavy cardboard, the standee folds in half and has a
collapsable easel back for safe and easy storage.
