My uncle was a dentist that has recently passed. We are cleaning his office and estate. We found this equipment sitting in one of his treatment rooms.
It is being  sold in the "AS-FOUND" condition.

We connected the male adaptor to the female - allowed air to pass. Would not allow air to pass when disconnected
Only test we were able to apply, but appears to be working.
