Corning 600 Watt heated stirrer!!

Here is a top of the line heated stirrer.   And what heat!!!   Six Hundred watts, that's more than enough to boil most anything.   And you can dial it down to middlin' heat as it has an actual thermostatic heat control (the right knob).
On the left you have a knob to control the motor stirring speed.  And this is not your usual cheap shaded-pole motor taken out of a phonograph, but an actual round electrical motor, like out of a fan!
Has a thick cast-aluminum base and a ceramic top.  Both have been refinished to look like new.
