How to Use Chervil
Chervil is one of the herbs used to make
fines herbes
(the others are parsley, tarragon, and chives), a delicate herb blend used extensively in French cooking. Chervil is
particularly delicious with eggs—either added to an omelet or sprinkled on scrambled eggs. It can also bring a fresh kick when added to lightly dressed salads.
Recipe for
fines herbes:
1 tablespoon tarragon (chopped)
1 tablespoon chervil (chopped)
1 tablespoon chives (chopped)
1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)

Combine the dried tarragon, chervil, chives, and parsley.

Place the mixture in a glass jar and seal tightly.

Store in a cool, dark place up to 4 months
