This listing is for the loose cut herb Calea Zacatechichi.
It is normal for this product to include some stems. I remove these when hand grinding the leaf to make capsules because they are difficult to grind, (capsules are offered in another listing, not this one). But for the purposes of using this to make a tea, the stems can be included in the steeping process.
This is a semi controversial product. I am not a doctor and am not formerly endorsing that anyone take this.

From cultural history, this product is traditionally ingested as a steeped tea. I personally tried this tea ONCE. This herb tastes BEYOND horrible. It coats your tongue with a foul taste that is incredibly hard to cover, mask, or otherwise get rid of. This led me to try it in capsule form (which I offer in another listing). I personally have a long standing (professionally diagnosed) problem with insomnia and circadian rhythm. When I have a particularly strong episode, this is the only herb I have personally found that will 100% break the cycle. The amazingly terrible taste led me to make capsules to bypass the experience of having to drink it. It worked, (for me), exceptionally well.
This experience is mine and mine alone. The effect of herbs vary greatly from person to person. You should not use my experience as a guideline for yourself and should consult a health professional before using anything. ESPECIALLY if you are pregnant, nursing, might become pregnant, are on any medications, have any health problems of any kind, have allergies, or anything else I can't think of that might put you at risk.

At the time of this writing, I am the only seller also offering the capsules. My listing is the one with the picture that shows me hand grinding the herb.
This herb has impressed me enough to break with my standard line of "do your own research, I don't offer information on herbs".
Beyond the insomnia benefits, a pleasant side effect of this product has also been, (for me), to provided a significant increase in my ability to "lucid dream". Lucid dreaming is something I've focused on for years and I'm better than average, but during occasions I've used this herb, I've noticed a significant increase in such experiences, and have noticed that this effect lasts for 1 to 3 nights after use. Again, this is just my own personal experience. To maintain freshness/potency I keep a tight inventory level on this. Orders over 4 oz MIGHT experience an extra 3-5 days of handling time depending on my inventory levels at the time of your order. If I just got a batch, this will not be the case. If I'm starting to run low and am about to order some, this MIGHT happen.
Plan ahead and save big $$. I back the quality of my herbs for 12 months. Please review the price per oz for all of the portion sizes. It can often be up to 75% cheaper per oz when buying larger portions.
