Apollo 3-Light Art Nouveau Silverplate Candleabra Ornate With Bobeches c.1898

Description

Apollo Silver Company produced these extremely art nouveau, ornate candelabra which scream of antique elegance.  The stamps on the bottoms say Apollo, Pattern #11040, and SPBM (silver plate on base metal).  Because they are so old (c.1898) and were loved and polished so much, spots of the silver plate on the higher spots of the raised designs are missing in many places.  To a large extent, the color of the base metal blends with the silver plating, giving these pieces an elegant shabby chic look.  There are NO
dents, flattening, or other problems with the metal.  The remaining plating is bright and beautiful.
Each candelabrum has three lights, each with its' own removable bobeche.  The middle lights have removable finials which provides a finished decorative accent when they are not being used with candles.
