Antique Chinese Carved Soapstone Figure Of Shoulao (Old Wise Man) Peach Crane

This figure has been in my father's china cabinet for over 20 years.  I cleared out his house about a year
ago and have been enjoying this piece I've admired for so long.  I am now moving myself so I need to part with some of the things I brought from his house to mine.....
He was a big auction guy, but I never knew where this came from.
From research, it appears to be a soapstone piece of Shaolau...a old wise man.  He carries a peach, a sign of good luck and a staff.   There  is a crane at his feet.
The figure measures 4" including the base.  The base is 1" square.
I don't know the age.  Regarding condition, I can see three of the four corners on the base have some white marks yet the corners still look sharp...I can't tell for sure if it is a slight nick, wear or the stone itself.
