Burmese KALAGA TAPESTRY Hand Embroidered Wall Hanging Burma Ganesh Hindu Kirtan
THAI / BURMESE EMBROIDERY TAPESTRY WALL HANGING
This beautiful vintage/antique wall hanging is elaborately hand embroidered. The rich intricate thread work shimmers with hundreds of tiny sequins, glass beads, as well as the tiny metallic threads interwoven with the softly hued cotton threads
. The Burmese figures are each elaborately designed and stuffed for a three-dimensional effect. The entire heavy piece and would make a perfect decorative wall hanging piece.
The piece is obviously very old and shows it on the back with stains and fabric ware.. However the front is in good shape for it's age just a beautiful historic work of art.
There are some threads coming up but not many and there are several glass beads missing but again do not effect the over all beauty of the piece.
