Lot of 4 VERY UNUSUAL, Early Antique 1920 Wood-Handled Advertising Fans, Pennsylvania Railroad, Bell Telephone, AT & T, etc.
DESCRIPTION:
Lot of 4 very unusual, PARTICULARLY nice original wood-handled antique advertising fans. Scans show  them all. All have heavy paperboard containing the printing and forming the fan part. Made with a variety of shapes.
Really nice subject matter, as shown, for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Bell Telephone, AT &T, etc. THESE ARE VERY INTERESTING, BOTH IN THEIR SPECIFIC CONTENT AS WELL AS PROVIDING A VIEW OF LIFE IN THE OLD DAYS, BEFORE THE INVENTION AND WIDE SPREAD USE OF AIR CONDITIONING.
Very large, with the "blade" of the fans measuring in the 9" range. Sticks are attached to the blade, then extend about 5" below to serve as a handle.
QUITE AN EFFECTIVE FAN AND VERY COOLING!! And great items for any vintage/antique advertising collection or specifically a collection of early Pennsylvania Railroad or Bell Telephone related items !! Nice functional advertising items!!
Very early items, no later than the 1920's. In excellent condition.
