    2 ANTIQUE ADVERTISING HAND FANS FOR RISING SUN, MARYLAND BUSINESSES RISING SUN HOTEL & JENNIE W. TAYLOR FUNERAL DIRECTRESS
    This is for a set of 2 different antique advertising hand fans that date to the 1930's. Hand fans have a wooden handle with paper tops. The first fan advertises for the 200th Anniversary of George Washington's birth 1732-1932. The back advertises for the Rising Sun Hotel on Route 1 between Philadelphia and Baltimore near the Conowingo Dam. Measures 14.5" long including the handle by 9 and 1/4" wide at widest portion. The second fan has a beautiful cottage home picture on the front and advertises for Mrs. Jennie W. Taylor Funeral Directress of Rising Sun, Maryland on the back. This fan was made by the Messenger Corporation out of Auburn, Indiana. Measures 11 and 1/4" long including the handle by 7.5" wide at widest portion. Fans have some age wear from use but overall are in pretty good condition for their age. Please see pictures for design and condition detail.
