  • Condition: Fair(+) Condition - The hinge was repaired, both sides of the leaf had to be reattached to the sticks, ~11 splits at folds, and one 1/8" hole in leaf. Please See photos.
  • Modification Description: The leaf was reattached to the sticks using archival cellophane tape and the hinge was repaired by using silk ribbon glued over the original fabric with archival glue and replacing the steel wire.

    Description

    Quina Vigor is a wine based
    aperitif with quinine as the bitter (quinine is added to soda water to make tonic water).  It is an advertising fan in Spanish that was manufactured by Chambrelent, Paris and the Quina Vigor was made in Bordeaux
    .  The fan leaf is printed on a waxed paper.  It has 2 natural wood sticks
    and is 9-1/2" folded
    with an 8-3/8" diameter the fan when open is 13-1/2" tall.
